A child of immigrants, Emily has always lived and thrived between worlds.  This dual perspective led to a career as a film and television professional specializing in global content distribution and localization, ensuring stories resonate across borders.  A graduate of Brown University with a degree in Modern Culture and Media, her writing is informed by a career spent navigating the nuance of how stories travel,  resulting in narratives that explore how time periods, diverse backgrounds, and cultures shape us all. 

When not navigating the complexities of film/tv distribution, or deep into researching an obscure detail for her next novel, Emily can likely be found on an adventure somewhere in Los Angeles, where she resides with her husband and their three children.
